Sailing along and discovering…Time goes by and the explorers dream of reaching new lands. Magellan, Cook and Columbus set out on their voyages hoping to experience adventures and discover unknown riches and unimaginable lands.
So their men explored sea and shore in old vessels with wooden masts, opened up new sea routes and developed the art of map-making. The thousand and one colours of butterfly fish, gouramis and corals from the Indian, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. |

The explorers would discover new lands on far-off shores and bring them closer to the rest of the world. Now we delve into lush jungle vegetation. A million species of plants, insects and microorganisms await discovery: the Earth’s lungs. Exuberant, unimaginable nature.

- A rest?...Come on in and enjoy our beautiful Mediterranean gardens.
Nothing less than 40,000 m2 of space that combines Mediterranean vegetation with marine exhibits, hammerhead shark and ray tanks and interactive aquariums. Enjoy fresh orange juice while the little ones sail in the pirate ship with the Buccaneer Captain in the children’s play zone. |

The Big Blue |

- Get ready for another dive!
The Big Blue, Europe’s deepest aquarium, immerses us once again in a marine habitat stocked with over 200 different species and a few….SHARKS!
The transparent acrylic tunnel that crosses through the chamber lends visitors the opportunity to enjoy the incredible sight of different animals at just a few centimetres’ distance, especially the chilling jaws of sharks living side by side with other species.
